The players shared their experiences with others playing New World last night and seeing many of the popular botting locations, whether they are fishing and mining routes with a lot less players than before. However, according to Reddit, players have been wrongly flagged from all the orders. It seems that most of the fraudulent codes appeared from the secondary sales website. New World can be obtained through many different means: from regular subscription stores such as Steam and Amazon to contests by content creators, and other companies.
In the post, an author explained some legitimate keys could be affected by this massive ban and asked any of these players to contact support immediately. In an interview with the community manager, TrevzorFTW shared that it had been news for a while that some steps had been taken to revoke thousands of keys that were fraudulently obtained to disrupt gameplay. Following hundreds of reports from New World of botting and gold farming, Amazon Game Studios has removed thousands of game keys from gamers they believe they are engaged in practice.
